Energy Efficient: Cooking In Your Kitchen

Energy efficiency can run the gambit of using less energy in your car to turning down the thermostat in your house. But what about energy efficiency in your kitchen?
You can reduce your energy in the kitchen. A good home cooked meal does not have to come from a grocery store. But cooking may heat up your house. If you are getting tired of eating cold cuts or eating out, I suggested in my blog post a few good tips to keep from heating up the house when you cook.
Remember to change out your incandescent bulbs. Energy efficient lighting can be achieved by replacing those incandescent bulbs in your kitchen with LED or CFL’s.
But don’t stop with the kitchen; replace all incandescent bulbs in your house. The LED and CFL’s will use less energy and generate less heat.
