I read the article about the great floating island of plastic that is contaminating the Pacific Ocean with dismay. It is hard to believe that we have allowed so much garbage to get dumped into the water. Remember the garbage barge that was being towed up and down the Atlantic coast looking for a home. Nobody wanted it – what ever happened to that barge?
